Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Director, Digital Solution Partner in Tarrytown, New York

The Director, Digital Solutions is poised to be a pivotal role in our digital transformation endeavor. You will lead the charge in exploring cutting-edge technologies, investment in alliance to co-create and design solution tailored for Regeneron to drive the next wave of innovation. You will identify the most promising use cases across business domains, define hypotheses to test, to develop and plan to solution and deliver. You will lead our digital innovation portfolio and help shape and implement the digital innovation strategy. This role will work with our global leadership team and program teams on the ground and will navigate the landscape of digital innovation to foster partnerships with other pioneers in the field. As the Director, Digital Solutions, a typical day may include:

  • Help shape and implement innovation strategy and framework.

  • Identify compelling use cases across business domains, develop hypotheses and pitch ideas, and reimagined processes and solutions to the customers and businesses, that include roadmaps, technology solution & investment, go to market strategy and gain an agreement from the respective business and IT leadership.

  • Explore partnerships with other digital innovators in the Biotech/pharma space, explore products and technologies already in the market or in works and look for potential partnership for build or to learn from technical and solution vantage point.

  • Identify emerging digital technologies with applicability to Regeneron, incorporating them into our technology strategy and technical build as appropriate and manage innovation portfolio including overseeing product and project delivery.

  • Shape up the products and solutions, plan and resource to deliver. Strike partnerships within the organization, or external ecosystem partners to deliver and track the program for on-time delivery.

  • Translate strategic input into product design Input based on comprehensive understanding of user needs, Internal partner and architectural perspectives. Provide technical expertise, support requirement collection and explore new technology trends to create blueprints and recommendations partnering with other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and others in delivering new digital solutions/services for patients and customers

  • Develop compliant architectural blueprints and create technology and architectural artifacts to enable design and implementation for a quality human-centered product and engineering.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team, ensuring that they are staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends in software development

  • Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates

  • Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability

This role might be for you if you have:

  • A proven track-record of prior innovation solutioning experience with digital technologies.

  • Strong experience in agile development.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of partners, including IT, R&D, operations, regulatory affairs, and senior management. This involves translating complex digital concepts into business value and gaining agreement for digital initiatives

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, willingness to learn and upskill, challenge the status quo and work towards bringing clarity

To be considered for this role a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree, preferred. At least 10 years of demonstrated experience collaborating with business or customer communities driving innovation, evaluating and practicing data, AI and digital technologies. Deep Industry Knowledge and a thorough understanding of the biotech and pharma industries, including regulatory environments, R&D processes, manufacturing, supply chain, and market dynamics. This knowledge is crucial for finding opportunities and/or reimagining business models for digital innovation that are compliant and competitive. Must have proven track record on 1 or 2 Domains on gaining consensus from customers and/or business factions. Proficiency in digital technologies relevant to the biotech and pharma sectors, such as data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain. Understanding how these technologies can be used to drive efficiencies, innovation, and competitive advantage is key. Knowledge of architecture practices and methodologies is a must. Understanding of the customer journey and how digital technologies can enhance customer experiences, from clinical trial participants to healthcare providers and end consumers. Demonstrated history of successful product delivery, possessing expertise in security, storage, and data management across mobile and cloud development, including the application of AI, automation, and cloud engineering. Prior product development and management experience is desirable with experience designing product strategies would be preferred. Required to be in Sleepy Hollow or Tarrytown, NY as required with ability to travel 25 - 30%, non-negotiable.

Salary Range (annually)

$198,000.00 - $330,000.00
